Hello there. It's a crazy busy time at Honeyslug at the moment, so we're a bit late to the party in picking up on this. Pocket Gamer did an Independents' Day Top 10 Indie Games on iPhone on the 4th of July, and lo! Poto and Cabenga features in that list. Check out the full announcement here.

 

The author of the piece, Mike Rose, is also the pen behind the excellent "250 Indie Games You Must Play" book which you can find at Amazon amongst others.

The lovely people at Mind Candy printed this awesome feature on our ‘Where’s IGGY?’ game in their latest Moshi Monsters Magazine!

Hello Blog. It’s all been rather quiet on the updates front, but that’s because we’ve been very busy since GDC and have a bunch of things on the boil. First thing for us to serve up is Nat’s first solo flight coding gig, a web game for Moshi Monsters called “Where’s Iggy”.

It’s an adventure game where your Moshling friend Iggy is captured by Dr Strangeglove and it’s up to you to rescue them. Along the way you will free other Moshlings who will help you as you travel further around the world trying to find your friend.

“Where’s Iggy” is available to play now from the Moshi Games portal here.

It's been a blast and Hohokum had some incredible feedback. It's probably for the best that the show ended, Ricky and Dick were losing their voices and look at how over exposure to indie games has affected Nat and Ricky!

So hopefully you've had a wander round our fancy new site (well, the bits that we've populated) and have clicked the blog looking for insightful and interesting comment on the world of indie development or design. Unfortunately both Ricky and Nat have full access passes for the talks, so you're stuck with another of my rambling messes of a blog post.

Nat, Ricky and I are out and about at GDC in San Francisco this week as part of our duties as IGF nominees, we're demoing Hohokum. Thanks in a very large part to Mr Dick Hogg and his wonderful hands, our nomination is in Excellence in Visual Art, so if you are in the viscinity of the Moscone Center and have a pass, why not drop by from Wednesday.

So far the week has been a mix of large food, interesting indies, and American Ales, but I hope to have some pictures to show of the set up later. In the mean time, here's a picture of AN ACTUAL TRAM.
